To help create and develop Lebanese enterprises in the agro-food and agribusiness sector that are as competitive and as successful as any in the Middle East or the world, the primary mission of Agripole is to provide intensive support to local client businesses in the agro-food and agribusiness sector, thereby accelerating their development and ensuring their ability to exploit significantly opportunities in local and export markets.
Agripole will be located in a purpose built facility in Tanayel, and is supported by a range of
local organizations such as USJ, AUB, Al Wafic the government through the Ministry of Economy and
Trade (MoET) and the European Commission (EC)..

Business and strategic planning,
Consumables
Market and export development planning,
Financial planning,
Advice on raising loans and investment finance.
Advice and training in a range of topics including human resources, production, quality standards, etc.

Agripole is a new Business Development Centre (BDC) and business incubator established to support the creation and development of new and existing businesses by providing
By providing a particularly integrated and comprehensive support structure, Business Development
Centres are celebrated for the very high survival rates of their client businesses.
Agripole will adopt international best practices to provide a similar service.
In addition to this however, Agripole intends to work with other stakeholders to address shortcomings in the
regional infrastructure which hamper the competitiveness of its businesses. In this way it wants to serve as
a catalyst for regional development with the purpose to reverse the brain drain.
As an incubator, Agripole will work with entrepreneurs to realise their ideas and start their own businesses.
In helping to encourage these, it is particularly, but not exclusively, interested in entrepreneurs with at least
5 years work experience preferably at mid or senior-management level.
Agribusiness will also work with existing companies in the agro-food and agribusiness sector which have yet to
achieve their full growth potential.
